What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

Onto the video.

So more than 20 seconds to get to 124 mph?(video starts a little under 20 kph, so never see the launch if there was one). Not bad for an 80s four banger, OE 80s German Looks like the second run gets there in roughly 18.

In the grand scheme though, Stock 4th gen LS1 gets there several seconds faster.

You mean a car fifteen years newer with much more power is faster? Maybe for now. :driving:

I understand it's a matter of preference. I like how planted the 944 is, and really don't have anywhere to take it that fast, especially since it's so slow. ;)

I would like to have a souped up 4x4, because I could use 100% of its power legally. But my garage would be 10+ vehicles if I had the means.

Question for the gear heads out there. When I bought my 92 4 years ago the guy I bought it from said if I use the small pulley on the S/C to run race gas or octane boost. The truck runs great but I notice it loves oil, no smoke no leaks, no blow by. I wasn't to worried about even if the motor blew I got my moneys worth. Was digging around the truck yesterday and came across the duffle bag that came with the truck. Guess what, the small pulley was on it, I though the guadge was bad 15 lbs of boost. I put the bigger pulley on now 5lbs of boost. The truck runs better, feels faster now that the tires hook up. Power delivery smooth. I know my question will be resolved in about 500 miles. I just cant believe that guy already had the small pulley on there.

I am new to this forum, thought I would post up and say HI! I live in East Tennessee and I am into cars, bowhunting, bikes and guns.

I gave my '13 1LE a shampoo today and I see that several of you guys are into Camaro's. The pic is not from today but the car still looks the same, just no green grass background.

Ryan,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have no plans as yet to attend. As a self-employed individual, I have to budget my off time very carefully, my staff all expect to be paid every week! It seems that free time is getting harder and harder to come by with all my obligations.

Got it cleaned up after yesterday's 100-mile "Salt-Dust-Cruise"... It's pretty rare here in KC to be able to get the Vettes out for a road trip in mid February! 70 and sunny here yesterday.

(I may do it again today; that way I get to clean it again!)
