100 over what period? Mine went up about $20 a month 2012vs2018

Ryan B.

Camaro was going to cost 100 PER MONTH for occasional use. Yeah, ridiculous. I have had no tickets or accidents in over a decade. The Mazda and Honda were already about 15-20 higher than competitors but I was staying because of the multi line discount. So I'm saving 84 a month by switching. And that's with me getting a higher bodily injury level. Geico let's your pick a much more detailed options and yearly mileage totals. They also offer mechanical repair coverage(only on the Camaro, do they know something we don't?)

But even though my homeowners is going up, it's only going to take 2 months to recoup that in my auto savings. My brother said AAA is even cheaper, but their online quote process is annoying compared to most others.

I was paying $230 a month for insurance on a '88 GMC s15 in 1990 ...

16 years old, and already had an accident under my belt - totaled my neighbor's '78 Chevy Luv pickup. Folded it in half after I pulled out in front of a '85 Caprice doing 45 MPH. :D

The myChevrolet and On star account were put to my email and phone but my wife's name. It's strange because it's on the same account that Tahoe was on but the account has been changed to her name. So I called OnStar because the my Chevrolet website says to use them to change the name. The  rep. I talked to apparently thought that I was trying to steal or take over the account because she wouldn't do anything unless my wife is on the phone too. It didn't matter that I knew all the information, I set up the account I set up with OnStar the last two vehicles,l(including this one) the pin number, and credit card is in my name,  everything was on my phone number and email.  So I had to put the wife on my phone call  so she can use my information to change the name. My wife thought it was pretty funny.

The salesman told me to correct it soon because OnStar could get wierd if they talked to me expecting her(including even calling the cops because they think I stole it), and he sure wasn't kidding.

My dealer screwed everything up on my account when my son bought his last truck from them, I had to go over there and sit down with a ba to straighten it all out 3 times and now his truck still shows up on my phone app for onstar, I gave up.

well my dad purchased a gmc canyon back in 2009.  They call and email me about it all the time.  I have no idea how they got my information when he purchased it, I was out of the house for 5 yrs at that point.  Even when I tell them to leave me alone I do not own a 2009 GMC they stil make contact.

In that second to last pic, the coolant reservoir looks filled to the brim. Wonder what they've changed this time? Where is the coolant supposed to go if it overheats?

I highly doubt they designed it to just pee out like the old cars did,  in this maniacal "environment trumps all" world ...

Curious!

Ryan, have you driven it yet?

I honestly don't know when I can drive mine again. It's been raining for 4 days. It might literally be weeks before the roads are clear enough for me, I want the fuel rail cover replaced. The road to my neighborhood is under water. Tomorrow Ill see if they fixed the drainage on any of the back roads enough. Our main road was fixed....then they "fixed" it again. Although my wife did say she saw a beaver near the neighborhood, he might be to blame. But, we are like 6 miles from any significant body of water, wonder why he wondered this far.

Rained all week and been to cold. Tuesday it was really warm out my son pleaded with me to drive it to baseball but I have all the gear in my truck. I also need to get the clearbra done. Lots of pebbles out from the potholes and roads falling apart here

You didn't get a temp tag? Or have you had it that long already?

I'm trying to decide when I will get the clear done on mine, and who. I don't think my guy actually does it, I think his buddy does it for him since I know he takes the car to the other shop. There is another place that also does it and they have been super friendly the few times I have called to ask about.

And  I changed my name. When they rebooted the site it went back to my old name, I had just noticed.

I have had a 69 RS, a 02 Z28, but this is my first SS, although my 400 "maybe kinda" counted, it had more power than some of the 67 SS 396s had, and it was an F body.
