What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

Been driving it a lot this week. Nice how when the car is rough around the edges, you worry less and tend to drive it more. Wrote up an Ad. Really torn on to sell or just have a long term project. Some of you probably remember how I just couldn't stop messing with the firebird(comments like "how many hours are in YOUR day?"). I don't like stopping in the middle of something.

We entered our Marquis in one last weekend. Won a $50 Jegs gift cert - not because our car is so nice .... it was just the luck of the draw.

I can't compete against a '71 Monte Carlo, '68 Camaros and Mustangs, a Grand National, 50's trucks, etc etc...

We weren't the newest car there, as you can see. That Impala next to me was friggin beautiful! Guy left in a hurry. Wanted to check it out more.

Check out this gem that showed up! Vega wagon! All original too! Didn't know there were any left that didn't rust away right back into the ground. :D

NICE! Some beauties there!

Were a couple real nice trucks at the one last weekend. The step-side '71 was for sale. Way outta my league.

Please tell me it came with the plastic sleeve?

Accord is doing great, 300HP V6(yeah, rated 278 but dynos have proven these are underrated) and 34 MPG for half the drive down, 32 for the other half, driving around 70 most the time(except for passing through small towns) with the car full of people and luggage. Got stuck in literal stop and go in Dallas and the tank average is still over 30.

Finally got my dashcam permanently wired in. It has a controller box that takes battery and ign connections and then runs the camera for a preset time or battery voltage limit is reached. Kind of a pain since the fuses are a "low profile mini fuse" which I did not have nor taps for the same. Had to make some ebay orders to get that squared away but it works great now.

I'm not a limber as I once was and cars are smaller than they used to be so a few hours of working in the trunk and interior takes a toll!

I installed the same setup in my 2011 Sierra earlier and it was a good bit easier.

Yes it came laminated as the date I am attending is written on the back (so I can't tamper with it). Should be a good time had to miss last year (1st time they did this) due to work
