06 chevy 2500hd 6.0

Hey I have a 6" rough country lift on my truck with 37" and im not happy with how ot tows so I was thinking about doing a straight alxe swap on it and changing the gears I can do all the work myself I wanted to know about how much I would have in to it and where I would buy the kit at?

You could just regear what you've got now but it's never gonna be as good as it Was stock imo. And as far as an SAS goes if you do it right it gets really expensive really fast

Dusty it's going to run you up into a few thousand to sas you need new brackets and coils as well as the axles and driveshaft swap you're basically tearing the whole front end out and starting over and the most money will come from new parts.

Yea if I do it im gonna do it witb leaf springs and I found out where I can get the stuff and it will be around 4000ish I was reading on it some more and I guess the left cv shaft is easy to break on them and that's what happened and bent my drop brackets to my front diff and broke the back mount off is there a way to get it where that left cv shaft wont break so easy?
