Nitto Terra Grapplers

Recommended Posts

Jim Wilson,  How many miles have you got on yours? Are you still happy with them?

Anyone else running these?

How about noise? My 305/70 Goodyears A/Ts need to be replaced. I am thinking about Nittos, maybe even going to a 285/75. The A/Ts are getting noisy as they run out of tread. I wish the Michelin 285/75 was AT instead of a MS.  The GY have 42 on them, I’m expecting about 50. I hope the Nittos will get that!

I have them on my 1500 and am very pleased with them so far, with about 4,500 miles on em.

Road noise is minimal and I am very happy with that. Offroad traction is also very good.

They're working out great for me and I hope they last.

I've got about 10K on them now, and still no complaints. Best d@mn tire I've ever owned. Hardly any noise to speak of, certainly not what you might think from an AT tire.

As far as an off road tire... they're not MTR's, so if you're talking hard core forget it (same answer as any AT though). I've had a little mud exposure, but definitely lots of on-road rain and snow testing and they've performed wonderfully. Highly recommended.  :thumb:

Professor dont have any experience with nitto truck tires, however I would like to share story about their drag radials.Bought 2 drag radials for my camaross 275/40/17 had severe vibration above 70 mph, back to shop road force balance reveal tires junk replaced under warranty. Two weeks later same problem, got refund replaced with bfg drag radial 0 problems.Needless to say bfg or michelin only for me,higher cost but last longer.
