May I ask why? Luckily townfaire lets me have 30 days trying to the new tires and if im unhappy I can swap them. I'm looking for something to commute city/highway and then offroad the weekends, so I need well diverse tires but trying not to break the bank on nittos

OK..me again..yea I know this is getting frustrating. Since I've read a ton of the g2s suck I've dropped them...and with that have kinda shifted a little of what I want. I've looked thru this tread and google and everywhere and I've got some down so here's the question. I was planning on 20x9+1 but thinking a 20x10 -12. Reason being for later on when I lift. Also I'm just gonna stick to a 285/55/20 making sure I fit. That's the question too. I'm sure on a 20x9+1 that will fit but does anyone know if mounted to a 20x10 -12? Will the 20x10 require metal trimming or such or stick out too far? Carpet trimming is OK metal is not. Should I just stick to a 9 wide even if later on lifted ( maybe a 5")? The other tire is I'm looking at the Toyo oc at2. Anyone running these happy or have complaints on them? Gonna pull the trigger tomorrow and if the oc at2 is a good tire and a 20x10 -12 will fit on a 3 inch level I'll go that route

New guy here. I just installed some 20x10 xd riots -24 offset with 285/55/20 Falken Wildpeak at3ws on my 2016 z71 with a rough country 2in level I only trimmed the plastic. It only rubbed in reverse at full lock. Now it just rubs the carpet barely

Loud, bumpy, less treadlife, more sensitive to proper rotation, worse wet weather on-pavement performance and less fuel efficient.

Do you have any down the side shots...front and back. Are you happy with how much they stick out? I'm looking at the -12 but at least to get an idea on about how much it sticks out. Def appreciate you chiming in!

What I find funny is I met a guy at my friends campground this weekend that was running 285/55/20 cooper at3's. No lift or level but the older body style GMC...maybe an 11-13 year. I drove his truck to see how the coopers felt. No rub or anything and he def wasn't a guy trimming and cutting pieces on his truck. Only dif was he was running factory 20 inch rims. Assuming factory 20s must have a decent + offset that's what must make all the difference

Awesome thanks.. OK so mine will be a tad more tucked. Looks good. The wife is telling me these wheels better make the truck look tougher and be coming out from the fender...Upstate NY girl.

I hate to be this guy, but don't forget to look into the laws in your area of how far a tire can stick out from the body. New York I don't think has any.

Here in Ontario you can't have anything sticking out with out having mud flaps or fender flare.

I know revised code of Washington states, “No person may operate any motor vehicle that is not equipped with fenders, covers, flaps, or splash aprons adequate for minimizing the spray or splash of water or mud from the roadway to the rear of the vehicle."

Must cover the tread width of the tire unless it's over 40 years old.

Pretty soon they want to outlaw lift kits in Ontario, they already won't let them pass a safety test if they aren't OEM approved lifts.

Believe it or not most states in the us will have some sort of law on lifts, offset, headlights, tints etc. Enforcement is usually lax. If your not being an **** and don't give the police a reason then you won't be bothered most of the time.

Like I see where they're coming from, it's to stop backyard lift installs, making people not go way past the safe point of Centre of gravity, and not to creat more "blind spots".... but it falls under majority of people are dumb they ruined it for everyone else. You didn't always need a license to drive a car.
