Post your 2014+ wheel/tire set-up

Recommended Posts

OK, apparently I am not good with the search feature so be gentle answering a question that I know has been answered 100X.

2017 High Country, stock 20" rims, current 275/55r20, Rough Country 2.5" front/1" back level

What size tire should I be looking for to fill 'er up a little?

275/65-20 or 285/60-20 (have these on my truck)

I ordered those exact wheels and tires, will have them in 2 weeks or so! less than 1492 out the door shipped!

If you can, please post up some pictures as soon as you install your rims and tires.

I have the exact same set up with my truck (2-1/2 level, 20x10 -19) I'm running 285/55/20, but I'm thinking of switching to either a 33x12.50 or 305/50. With your set-up, do the tires look small? The 305 are just a little bit smaller than my 285's but I want more width.

That looks really good man! I think I'm gonna go that route on mine.

2" RC and get 305/50/20s for mine. Just can't decide what wheels and such I want.

I was actually going to throw my wife's 285/55s on these and the 305/50s on the Tahoe(rubs a tad on the 285/55s)...long story short I was the only one that had time to go to discount tire all day yesterday so I just threw the 305/50s on. Looks fine. May go with a 305/55 next but it looks fine on the 305/50

I say aftermarket rims, OEM limit the tire size you can run because they normally don't have a offset

Don't say that! I'm trying to talk myself into keeping my stock midnight edition 18's lol

Stock wheels limit width due to sway bar rub. Aftermarket 0 or negative offset will cause the rub to happen at the fender liner, which must be trimmed or zip tied back. If you stay at or below 285 you can actually run a taller tire with stock wheels. The same time on a aftermarket wheel will rub the fender liner and/or body mount.
