Watch the animated movie The Dark Knight Returns(movie version of an 80s Frank Miller Batman series). Its about an old batman who is just worn out from all the hard years, but he has to come back and fight one more time. Its pretty good, and looks like this will be based a lot on that. I'm not a comic guy, just watch the movies, but I bought that. Warning, its not for kids, pretty gory for a cartoon.

 

And in Batman vs Superman, Batman always wins. He is smarter, and always has a backup plan. Don't see how the movie is going to be a surprise unless they let Superman win for once.
