Someone here has Rancho's 4" lift?

Recommended Posts

I'm dying to go 4" on my truck.  I'm giong to wait for the factory warranty to run out though.

If you have one: How do you like the lift now that its been on a while?

Do you have pics you could post or send.[email protected]

Someone also has the N-Fab nerf bars if I remember correctly?    How bout the N-Fab steps like them?  are they practical?

I'm going to pick up the phone to call N-Fab unless anyone has bad news about theirs.

Thanks

I think I'm in a different situation than most of you.    Back in the day I might have gone 6 or more but not any more.  This is my daily driver and the little woman is only 5'4" and with 2 kids I just can't see it.   No wait I can see it.  And I like it but its not practical.   I'm gonna catch #### for getting 4 but I'll deal with that when it happens :(

Bigger is better until you have to start dealing with garage clearances (residential and office).

That is why I've got a shop with a 10' clearence on it.  When I  finaly get around to building my "TOY TRUCK" it will live there.  I want to put a 6" suspension lift on my truck with 3 front shocks and dual rear shocks...........

However I too have to wory about the short 5'4" wife, so untill I find an old beater to fixup im doing nothing more then

Straight from the showroom to 4wheel parts!

4inch rancho with pro comp 33s on extreme alloy 1869s... Bad lighting, but an example!

Currently sits around 73 inches high. Like guys have said, I guess you can get 6 inches out of the lift if you crank the torsion bars.

Truck 1..

Compared to our Jeep.. which I used to think wasn't that small!!

Yes, but the real issue I have is length of the truck.. I have about 3 inches clearance on top and about 3 inches lengthwise! Also, can't get out from the house into the garage with the truck in there because it blocks the doorway.

Needless to say, will spend most of it's time outside, but glad to know if it storms or hails I can bring it in.

I'm down in highlands ranch. When they built the cookie cutter homes down here, they didn't have SUVs/trucks in mind. Most of the folks in our neighborhood with full sizes are out on the street.
