2006 Silverado carpet replacement

I am going to replace the carpet in my crew cab but I only really need to replace the front half due to water in the driver's side footwell. It appears that most companies only offer the full crew cab carpet. I was wondering if I could just purchase a regular cab carpet. Are there any differences in the floors? I know I could just purchase the full crew cab and cut it but thought I could save a few bucks. Also what size torx socket is needed to remove the seats? Thanks, Terry

Whats the difference in price? this might be a case where you just do it right the first time and replace it all in my opinion

Looks like it's only about $35 difference. So you are probably right. The rear seat has hardly ever been sat in so it's like brand new and I wouldn't has go mess with taking out fhe back seat and trim. When it comes down to it I will probably replace the whole thing.

I would just do the whole carpet.. It would look weird too have the carpet be cut in half and be different colors.. It's not hard at all to take the the trim and seats out of these trucks.

I know that when I took the seats out of my 02 I found a normal socket that fit perfectly or the torx that hold the seat down and I safely removed them

None of my sockets work and i dont know the size of the torx :/ I looked at menards with no luck
