I've always just picked up parts store branded batteries (carquest, autozone, etc) and the ones in my gas trucks have lasted for 5+ years. Of course diesels are a different animal all together, but the last batteries lasted around 4 years as well so I figured that's what the norm is on those big trucks

Well she's all hooked up an running. Great oil pressure compared to the old motor. Only problem is that the shift cable broke, and now I have to wait for a new one. Ugh! It's always something.

I was thinking of getting an Odyssey, I just couldn't really spend that much right now. I've only ever bought Duralast, Acdelco, and now the Napa.

Odyssey yes. Ivan let the Optima go a lot cheaper.

Too fancy for me. If I were to trade it would be to a 2500, more than likely a diesel. I really wish GM would pull their head outta their ass and put the doggone rear HVAC vents back in their trucks
