I had a scosche that came with my HU from crutchfield and yeah it was really loose & fitment was worse. I bought a Metra kit, super tight & fits like factory.

Haha! The one they gave me is a Metra.

Oh, and I messed with my temperature control unit today. It controls the correct sides now, but 10 or so seconds after one side is adjusted the other side changes to match it. No idea wtf is going on with this turd.

Just ordered a Metra for the 2011 F150. It matches the wood grain. It was $180. not too excited about it, but it isnt my money

Oh wtf haha my metras have been for a single din think I had one for a double for my Tacoma, but all worked great so IDK (shrugs).

Really haha that sucks man. I've never been a fan of the auto HVAC for these trucks. My 03 Sierra was goofy and so is the one in my Avy.

In the summer it's great having the dual zone for a passenger and not having to mess with it constantly. Set it and forget it. In the winter I just leave it on defrost usually. Although the dual zone is nice then too to keep her feet warm.

The old one under the engine was bent pretty bad, and it was hard to line up the bolts when installing it. The plastic one was never on the truck when I bought it. Here's the old engine plate:

Daryl, if you don't mind me asking where did you get your catch can? I have an '07 nbs Sierra and can't find anything compatible with it. Thanks.

Norris Motorsports. Google Mike Norris catch can's, should be a link to his website from there.
