Gettin all technical on me now huh. Lol! They listed it on Rock Auto as an Interior Temperature Sensor. I thought the dang thing was a speaker before that lol!

Haha right me too. Thought it was used for auto volume adjustment. If the gmt800's even came with that feature.... My old K2xx did and it was very handy but my tires played havoc with it ha

I think they had it, or atleast a version of it. I know they could lower the volume of the radio if you get on the brakes a little hard.

Ordered a new Heater/AC Control Unit. Mine is messed up anyhow, and I had the extra money from my vacation pay so I figured I might as well replace it before GM decides to discontinue it for some odd reason.

It needs new inner and outer rocker panels, by the time I get to those it'll need cab corners too. Needs a new front passenger side fender, a new bedside, probably a new front bumper too, and various dings and dents in different spots of the truck. Rockers and cab corners are first priority. Not really worried about the hood because it will be replaced too. Not going to worry about the bed either because after I pay off the Cruze I will buy a whole different bed because this one will be toast by then.

Okay so I had this list a few months ago, and I've managed to get half of it taken care of. What wasn't on the list was my front tint strip, and a new rear window that I've also had taken care of.

Ya know you can rebuild the gauge cluster yourself if you have just basic soldering skills.

I got 6 updated OEM stepper motors and 10 5mm LED bulbs and a solder sucker for about $20.

I was having an issue with my fuel gauge but no bull shit the day I ordered this stuff the gauge started working and has continued to work ever since, so I have them on stand-by. But anyway they are pretty easy to replace. There's vids on YouTube about the install.

Yea I've known about that for a while. I have no idea how to solder, and I wouldn't feel comfortable even trying. Plus I want the transmission gauge added. Im more comfortable paying them to do it. Lol!

Ah no doubt. I've been soldering for longer than I care to admit so it's no thing to me.

I just may have to add a trans temp gauge too once i do bust into my cluster.

You've got it made then! My Dad knows how to do it, but his soldering tools are shot, and so is his eye sight when it comes to something like this. I had a coworker solder new bulbs into my temperature control unit, and ever since then it has been messed up when you change the temperature. My instrument cluster works fine, but a lot of the bulbs are blown out. Either way I'll have it completely rebuilt.

So here are my new plans for the more expensive mods in this order:

- Send out instrument cluster to be completely rebuilt and have a trans temperature gauge added.

- Get the front two windows and rear window tinted.

- Replace front brake rotors because the old worn out calipers have ruined them.

- Replace catalytic converters.

- Replace cab corners & rocker panels.

- Add Hellwig helper springs.
