Finally got around to replacing a few metal clips that were missing from the rear door panel. Added felt tape to every spot where the clips push into the door. Hopefully there won't be any noise coming from this panel anymore.

Snooping around on Google with ideas on how I want the truck to look when I get around to doing the major body work and paint in the future. I really like the hood on these two trucks. I've been set on doing the 03-05 front hood and grille swap since I bought the truck, and I still am. Thinking I'll do a painted grille though like on the SS.

Been reading through your build here that past few days, some very nice work you've been doing. I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of the same upgrades to mine along the way.

Funny, I've been contemplating swapping my '04 hood/grill for an '06. But, I have Engine/Drivetrain upgrades/maintenance to address before I spend any money on anything cosmetic.

Thanks! I feel the same about the cosmetic issues. I try to fit in a few of the cheaper ones as I go, but any body work/exterior upgrades will have to wait a while yet.

That's funny cause I like the 06-07 grill setup better than the 03-05. I'd offer a trade if mine was in better condition

Mine isn't in great shape either. To swap grilles the hood has to be swapped also.

Yeah my hood isn't great either. Rust spot forming above the passenger headlight.

Sounds about right. Mine doesn't have any rust, but it has a nice dent in the front of it. Whoever owned it before me must have enjoyed putting dents into the truck. Haha!

Started on the sound deadener install today. Truck goes to the shop next week for an alignment so I'm only working on the rear of the cab for now.
