Don't play if you don't wanna pay!

Oh I don't mind payin to play the game. I had a blast till it broke! I'll just have someone else lead next time [emoji23]that way I'm not the one gettin stuck cause that's when my window broke.

I definitely like the vinyl between the windows, looks way cleaner, I had wondered what it would look like when I test drove one. Once I pick up my new truck on tuesday I will definitely be doing that asap.

Edit: realized from reading farther back in the thread that it isn't vinyl.. but you know what I mean lol

We know what cha mean, it does look a lot cleaner this way[emoji106]

Getting a new T-Rex grille and emblem for a complete steal at $400 [emoji57] gonna go pick it up this weekend hopefully

Also finally added a spinner knob, I had one in my Yukon and have been wanting to get another, since we got one for the boat last week, I remembered just how much it helped and picked one up on my way home from work CEE523F4-508F-44F4-B8AE-D56C4CB94C83_zps

Hey Mike, I've been reading up on some lighting additions and see your experience with both the xk glow pods and the cheap LED strips from ebay. Since you've now used both, which would you recommend for footwell and/or under hood lighting?

Footwell - I'll want them to come on when the door is open (I think that's also how you've got it?)

Under hood - I assume the xk glow might be best since it comes with the button to turn on/off

Thanks for any advice/input you can give that will save me time/money haha!

Dang Mike! I was happy with my leveled White Diamond Tricoat and 33" Tires and now you've shown me what it should look like :driving:

Looks really sharp - I may have to consider an upgrade when my tires wear out..... :nonod:

I already posted one in the "what have you done" thread, but here's some more pics from the other day when she got all dirty [emoji57]

Got stuck up to the frame at one point [emoji28] ended up putting some scratches on rear driver rim and when I was getting pulled my buddy ended up flinging a rock at my back window when his tires spun so I think we know how that ended [emoji35]

You got your front window tinted? Also I am not sure if we talked about this before but did you figure out what wire exactly it is at the BCM for the ambers?

Yes I do have mine set up like that! They turn on whenever the Dome override switch (the one on the overhead console) is set to on or if the doors are opened. They act just like a factory light would [emoji106] as far as which light to go with, I'd use the xkglow pods just cause they are so small but so bright and perfectly match the OEM dome lights

Id use the same pods for under the hood. I've had mine for quite some time with zero issues. Bright and compact. I did have the switch I got from XK fail on me, not sure if a wire just came loose or if the switch actually failed to work properly but either way I just pulled it out and set it up so I plug the power wire into a quick disconnect to give them power. A fail proof system haha

Yours looks sharp man[emoji106] I think this is a perfect height, although when I got the truck I said the same thing about a level kit with 33s lol. Hopefully I'll stay happy here [emoji28]

I'm not sure which wire it is. I just went ahead and tapped into the turn signal wire in the door harness, sorry

But yes I did have my windshield tinted. Got 45% film (I think it was Suntec carbon but not sure. It's a cheap film Incase I ever need to pull it off to get a brake tag [emoji16])

well just got word from the guy who's grille I was gonna buy, hi buddy came over to help take it off, they joked around a little, seller jokingly said "yea he's gonna buy it for $700" and his buddy pulled $750 out of his pocket and so he sold it right there, kinda ticks me off that he backed out on our deal and didn't tell me before he made the deal with his friend, I wouldve offered more for that grille just cause it would still save money. :banghead:

Man haven't been on in some time (busy with PCs at the moment) Mike looks like you had some fun. I take it the Deegan 38s are treating you well?

over the last few days I've been working on colormatching the chrome trim in the guage cluster

Drove around like this for the last 2 days

But here's the end results. Definitely worth it. It's easy to remove the trim, but it's a PITA at the same time

Last picture has a sneak for the next small interior project[emoji57] already got it in place, just need to straighten it up before I get a better picture of it

"It's all the finer details that makes the biggest changes" as my friend told me when I sent him a pic of the guages

Also want to give a thanks to Tgawley for giving me the idea and advice on how to remove the trim[emoji106]
