Mike1220's 2014 Sierra

I think the rs2s will be very common like the first ones before long so the anthems would be a good call.

I think we just made my rim decision. Now I just gotta stop thinking of rims and get these before something else makes me change my mind. So final set up, 35x12.5x20 Toyo R/Ts (or Lexani Mud Beast tires in the same size. They'd be a heck of a lot cheaper!), Anthem Defender rims in matte black and colormatch, and a Zone 4.5" lift! Ps. I have to give credit to Sawyer_dowell_3, I was talking to him about his clearance since he has a Zone 4.5 and some 20x9 rims w/ -12 offset and 295/60/20 tires, something similar, but not exact, to my desired set up and he had mentioned the Anthem rims, if it wasn't for him Id probably still not know that they exist Edited by Mike1220

Get the Toyo R/T's!

Those 37's don't look like 37s haha. But hey. You have an incredible set up with those 37s on a BDS coil over 6"! I'd love to do that but it just won't work for me with all the miles I drive and how small a lot of the streets I drive on are. With the offset you have Id be running myself and others off the road haha.

Buy American tires. Mickey Thompson or cooper are my personal favorite

Yea I remembered after I posted that now I'm deciding between the Lexanis or the R/T's that I didn't want a mud tire becuase of the miles I do. I'd probably run through a set of M/Ts in less around 2 years. So my real decision is the Cooper S/T Maxx or the R/T. I've seen a lot of great reviews for both tires, great tread life, low noise, great on road and off road traction, only difference I can really see is the price. R/T's are $387 a tire and Coopers are $289.

Merica' I actually work in the plant that makes the S/T Maxx

Oh wow, small world haha, I may end up with them cause they seem to have a longer tread life than the R/T's

Toyo tires are made in Georgia! It's the Tundra of tires lol.

They are actually 35's. I am very glad I did not go the 37" route, I already had to trim a lot because of my offset and 13.5" wide tire. If you are going to be doing a lot of highway driving then a R/T would not be your tire. I would get something like a Toyo AT II or the Cooper S/T Maxx looks to be similar as well. I personally would lean towards Toyo just because of the great experience I have had with there products in the past and the tread life.

Oh that would make a lot of sense then [emoji23] "that 37 tire doesn't even look like a 37!"

"Well that's cause it's not a 37!"

I would go with an AT but in all honestly I'd rather have something more aggressive, yes an AT would probably do the best for what I need (a high mileage aggressive tire) but I'd rather more aggression than an AT but with better on road performance and lifespan than an MT. That's why I'm looking for the great middle ground of a hybrid like the R/T or the Maxx

I'd say those two tires are you best bet. Is Mickey Thompson making anything in the hybrid category? That's another tire with great tread life.

Yep, like CptMcSaug linked, the ATZP3. They look great in person I saw them on a Sierra Apex edition on a dealer lot when looking for a truck. I've seen some people claim 70,000 miles with that tire. But they hummed pretty loud when we took the truck for a test drive on the hwy. Edited by Mike1220

The Cooper version is known to be alot quieter.

Cooper is supposed to be a premium line, quieter, long life, and performance.

MC is the performance line, so better off road and more aggressive, so louder.
