02suburbanZ71
Speed limiter set at 98 Speed limiter set at 98, but I would trust these trucks to do 140. Did 125 in my other truck when it was leveled sittn on 33's and she handled pretty good. Except the RPM's were through the roof Mine is slow from 90-100 then it hauls *** from 110-120 then it just stops pulling at 127. It can maintain 127 but not go higher i guess it just runs out of hp, it takes a lot of juice to move this thing 127 i just wish it didnt fall flat on its face
Mike1220
You don't have your speed limiter? Did you tune and I miss it?Diablo intune I-1000 can disable the speed limiter(: thought I mentioned that I got it a while back. Love the thing. I really like the change in throttle response. I actually went back to stock tune for a week when it went into the shop for regular manintenance and for that brake issue I had and so I took the time off so they didn't try to blame anything on it being tuned. So when I got it back, I completely forgot that it wasn't tuned anymore and for almost a week I couldn't figure out why it seemed so sluggish lol. But I have no need to go that fast, well, hell, I didn't have a need to go as fast as I was actually [emoji23] but it's a truck, I wouldn't want to go that fast in here. I'll just borrow my dad's 03 Mercedes SL55 AMG if I want to go that fast. And I'll put the top down too, just for the extra looks [emoji6] Mine is slow from 90-100 then it hauls *** from 110-120 then it just stops pulling at 127. In my old Yukon haha. Those things really do start to cut out at 127 (I just remembered it being somewhere above 120). One of my friends lives in the middle of nowhere (Violet Louisiana) and it's so far out in the middle of nowhere that even the cops don't give a damn if you speed. We drove by the police station at 80 in a 60. Then he decided to speed ahead of me and so I had to catch him. My Yukon started sputtering like it was trying to say "hey buddy, you wanna try to push this big rig this fast? No? I didn't think so! So chill!" Mike1220
Finally a day to wash her up [emoji106] Thinking of finished the debadging on the sides. What you guys think? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk EDIT: also ordered some door handle covers and a tailgate handle cover just so I can try some different color ideas. Gonna try colormatching them, maybe even a colormatched stripe down the center like the Tahoe handles. The tailgate handle will be colormatched. I figure this way I can get away with spending $40 and a few bucks on paint ideas rather then spend $100 getting the current handles painted. This way if I don't like it, I take it off [emoji106] Edited March 21, 2015 by Mike1220

Thats sad since i have double the cylinders and bout 120 more hp

On a side not what is that green icon illuminated on your dash? Yep, like rdnckhntr said, it's lame departure warning. Works well. It's green when you are good and then flashes yellow when you are "unintentionally" exiting the lane. By "unintentionally" I mean whenever you switch lanes without your blinker. Also the side that you are exiting on, ie if you start to go to the right, then that side of your seat will vibrate. Mike1220
Colormatched the chrome mirror caps today! Also went ahead and pulled the door molding on one side to see how I like it. What do you guys think? For anyone who says it would look better with colormatched bumper don't worry, that's on the way after I get my lift. I plan to get the Sierra G2 bumper and colormatch it. I'm also waiting to hear back from the guy about the G2 bumper.

Kinda like an HD. [emoji57] Edited March 23, 2015 by Mike1220

crafferty
I'm an odd ball and like the stock trim. I think it does a good job of braking up the side of the truck.
Mike1220
I'm an odd ball and like the stock trim. I think it does a good job of braking up the side of the truck. Not an odd ball. I wasn't really sure how I would like it so I still have the ghost outline on the driver side for the door molding and I have the molding still installed on passenger side lol. In really didn't like it when I first took it off. Started thinking it was a major screw up cause now I had to put it back on perfectly cause of my OCD. But after having it off for a little while, it's growing on me. I am still considering colormatching and then reinstalling. I did it cause for a while, I planned to keep all the stock chrome minus maybe one or 2 things. But since getting the truck, I have slowly started to really like colormatching and/or removing the chrome but still am not 110% sure which I like better
