Thanks! And install wasn't bad. Had to drill a hole for the 4th bolt that these mirrors have. I was planning to take pics of everything but it just got way too cold way too quick.

As for the ambers, member Phydiux has been able to design and create a Circuit board that allows the ambers to run as both running lights and turn signals so I'm waiting for him to build a set and then I will wire that in. Not sure when that will be though, so for now, they are wired as turn signals only.

I thought there was a 4th fastener, but wasn't sure. How bad is getting the door panel off?

I'd be down for a set of those boards too. That's awesome!

Well he is only planning to make a few himself! He is just one person and not a company. I have just been talking to him for a while trying to find out different ways to get this to work so he said he'd make me a set of boards[emoji4]

Damn! I wonder if he'd take some money to make me a set lol

Today I changed my Dually D2 driving lights in my fog lights to the new DOT approved Dually lights from Rigid Industires

Gotta be honest, I had them under the bull bar last night and liked how they looked there, but their purpose of adding light was killed by having them there because they were so low down and closer to the ground. I think I may put them back there this summer when I get my lift and put the D2 Driving lights back in the fog light positions. However I will have the D2s wired to the rest of the light bars and the DOT fog light pods still wired to the fog lights

So how does the light output of the DOT versions compared to the non-DOT D2 Driving?

check out post #445. I posted several pictures on and off the road (off the road pictures were taken in a parking lot, not dirt roads) and gave my personal review of the lights. They are pretty good for what they are, fog lights.

That bracket around the cube, where did you get it?

They are the OE mounts from Rigid Industries for the Dually lights. Brackets are good but the screws are small so be careful not to strip them

Sorry Mike, not quite sure I understand. My post count shows 301 for your thread.

You reviewed the D2 DOT's?

Took some pictures just for you man, would've gotten more pictures but I just finished and it's too damn cold outside. So cold that For now idc about the white LEDs. Right now they don't work but they will work soon enough and will be hooked to the cargo lights.

Awesome truck Mike! Curious, what type of towing mirrors are those?

OEM tow mirrors made by GM with all the bells and whistles.

Lights look good! Those may just work for me.

So I saw you're getting some LED headlights? From VLEDs? I was just looking at them and was very interested.

Yes I have the VLED LMZ 4500 lumen bulbs on order. 5000K.

I'll be interested to find out how they perform in our headlights.

Jon A has them in his Sierra already. He's the reason why I'm getting them! Because now I know that they work [emoji4]
