If you want to change up the bumper I would just paint match them. Just my opinion.

Some times I see the offered bumpers and really like them but every time I book mark one and come back to it the next day I just say "no... its just worth it"

Yea. I mean, if I do anything with painting the current ones it honestly won't be color matched. I'm just not a fan of color matching everything. There's too many color matched trucks around. Right now I'm waiting till I tint my turn signals and tail lights to see where I want to go from there. I think that doing that will end up pulling everything together because when I was looking at different pictures that I photoshopped to make the turn signals and tail lights blacked out / dark smoked, it completely changed the look of the truck and brought a good flow to the black, chrome, and white. I know it's 3 different finishes on the truck, but I think they are a good combo if done right!

Looking at the off road bumpers, I feel like it could be worth it, but then it's also a lot of money to change both out. Just over $3,000 for the parts from Road Armor.

Dipped the chrome in my grille black today! Got the idea off Instagram the other night. Not completely sure I like it. Waiting for morning to see. Btw, it's a PITA to get the chrome out of the grille.

Btw, I may not be getting a lift and tires due to needing to get the side of the truck repaired after some Neanderthal hit it in the parking lot. No decency to leave a note with contact info so I have to repair it. Couldn't find anyone in the lot that matched the markings on the side of my truck.

Since I won't be able to get the lift and tires now I may end up getting the new tow mirrors instead and I will get the lift and tires early this summer.

Looks good! Have you thought about smoking the light bar inside the grill? Might look good.

I have actually, but the light bars are almost nicer to not have smoked just because they add so much light and I only really use them when I need the extra light

Well after having this happen on Friday:

I buffed all the paint marks out on Friday night. Looks better now but still not great. Dropped he truck off at X-A-dent this morning and they needed to keep it overnight cause they are making progress and its a difficult job because of the designs in the metal that GM has there. But just thought I'd share. I also decided to debadge just a bit of the sides last night. I didn't get To take a good picture today since I didnt have the truck. Should have it by tomorrow at noon.

Here's the debadge

I just took off the SIERRA on the sides. I think it helped to clean it up a bit and make the area look a bit less cluttered.

Here's a photoshopped picture. So it's not the real thing but it's a really good photoshop IMO (Btw, this includes photoshopping that includes the work I'm getting done on the headlights and tail lights)

All that remaining chrome has got to go! You're killing me Mike! Lol.

Sorry to see the injury to the truck. Hope they get it looking perfect.

They weren't able to fix it completely [emoji20] but they did get it about half way fixed but since they couldn't repair it completely it was no charge!

Here she is back at work with me today

Taking the headlights and tail lights off tonight and sending them to Phil at Fastheadlights in the morning!

Hopefully everything will come out looking as good as I hope when I get them back! Only time will tell though. 2 weeks time. So stay tuned!

Edit: so scratch my headlights getting worked on this Christmas. Shipping will end up costing way too much. :/ sad morning.

It'll be around $500 to ship everything there 2 day air. Then it'll likely cost around $300 (since there will be less packages returning than I was sending since some were just parts that were going into the headlights) so $800 total shipping (the headlights are in big boxes and I'm running out of time for Christmas break to feel comfortable sending them ups regular ground (5-7 day which would cost about $200 there and $100 back approx so $300 total) and it'll take Phil around 7-10 days to get all the work done at a comfortable speed. He could have it done in 3-5 but I don't want anything rushed with what he's doing to the headlights. These things cost way to much (with each headlight being worth around $600-$700 a piece to replace) so I'm not gonna risk a silly mistake being made with these headlights just so I can get this done now. I'll just wait till summer when I can send it UPS regular ground and not worry about having to get everything back super quick

Phil did my lights on my NNBS and not only does fantastic work but also has the best customer support/service ive ever come across.

Just thought I would throw that out there.

Yea Phil is a great guy! Still haven't heard back from him after letting him know that I'm gonna have to wait till summer to do my headlights now. Still wish the shipping wouldn't have costed so much. Was really looking forward to getting them done this Christmas but oh well. Can't wait to work with Phil this summer

I know where your coming from. Seems every time I turn around shipping rates go up :banghead:

Same here! You'd think they would drop at least a bit with how low gas prices are going now.

Amber running lights? Never heard of them [emoji41] disabled them tonight. Took only about 30-35 minutes from beginning to end. Looks so much meaner without the amber.

Btw, they only don't function as running lights. But they work perfectly fine as turn signals and hazards. No hyperflash or anything.
