How are those cargo/backup lights holding up?

They are doing great. No issues at all. And I use them very often as I leave the bed lights on a lot for extra light at night when working on the truck or on something near the truck. I recommend them to anyone who asks me about them.

Got my VLED V3 triton turn signals, my new projectors and bulbs from TRS and lastly my halos and other assorted LED goodies from LED concepts all on their way to my house. All were shipped today and should arrive by Friday. Sending all off to Fastheadlights next Saturday to get everything installed.

Well actually I'm going to put in the V3s before I ship off the headlights cause I want to see just how bright they are before the ambers are tinted. I will post a video or picture showing the difference between stock and the V3 for anyone interested.

Picked up my LED concepts lighting just now! This stuff is crazy bright I must say! I'll be playing with it all later tonight. While I was picking it all up I was also asked if I would like to be the show vehicle whenever they go to local car shows [emoji41] so it looks like someone's gonna start going to local car shows more often.

EDIT: my new projectors and bulbs also came in yesterday and so now I have everything for my headlight upgrades coming this Christmas

Looks good, but needs a full chrome delete now to tie everything in. The mixture of chrome/black trims looks unfinished. I would black out the window trim, color match all remaining chrome and it will be perfect.

I have plans to either dip the window trim or replace it with black trim all together. I like the Chrome grille and I feel like that may be the only piece I keep chrome. I may try dipping the bumpers to color match over the Christmas break in a week to see how it turns out.

I do agree that the large amount of Chrome w/ black does sometimes look unfinished. We'll have to see how it all turns out! I'm changing to black rims and so that'll be one less bit of chrome.

EDIT: I think I have come up with a better idea, at least I like this option better, I may just go ahead and upgrade to off-road bumpers. Likely some Road Armor bumpers. I am about to give them a call to see how much the non which bumper will end up costing as they have listed "Call for prices" and not an actual price.

Any thoughts or opinions anyone??

Road armor is some pricey stuff. If you Google the part number you can get pricing from other vendors. Was actually looking last night out of morbid curiosity. Around 1900 for the non winch front replacement. Lots of options at that price point and cheaper.

Yea I am starting to see that price a lot. I would really like to do off road bumpers. If I do then I may do a 6" lift instead of a 4" to compensate for the weight of the bumpers. I am certainly not looking to spend $2,000 on a bumper. I just can't justify in my own mind paying $2,000 for any one single mod. I am going to start looking at other off road bumpers.

Edit: I am looking for just a base bumper preferably with a 20" LED bar insert.

Just found it on XLoffroad.com, they have it for $1529.95 + free ship. Justifiable price IMO for the exact look I'm wanting. But still looking at other brands. I'm also surprised that Road Armor doesn't have a rear bumper from what I'm seeing.

Not a fan myself of the bumpers. I prefer a sleek appearance. If you go with big old black bumpers it will only make any left over chrome look that much more out of place. Too many finishes just looks thrown together with no planning IMO.

I am still not 100% dead set on the bumpers. Right now they are still just a thought. I may do a 6" lift if I do the bumper upgrades. But I still need to see some more pictures of the K2's with the bumpers on. I will be dipping the SIERRA and SLT emblems black on the tail gate next weekend.

I likely won't end up with the bumpers to be honest. But still not ruling them out completely at this point.

I won't be thinking too much on what I want to do in the future until next weekend as I have exams this coming week so time will have to be spent 95% toward studying and 5% toward eating haha.

EDIT: I am also waiting to get the ambers and tail lights tinted/smoked so that I can better make a decision on what will look best to do.

I could even end up taking the dip off the chrome emblems and door moldings. Again, still not sure on what exactly I want to do.

Road armor is over the top, overpriced, and overweight. Lots of better options out there.

I'm mainly looking for the ability to use the square pods. I haven't don't much research but didn't notice any other companies with a spot for pods instead of round lights.

EDIT: but like I said before, I'm still not completely sure if I even want to change to the off road bumpers.

You should be able to order one with just about anything you want. Depends on the company though. And waiting a while is probably smart, there will be more out there before long.

Yea. As of right now I'm liking what the truck will look like once I get the front turn signals blacked out
