quite the build man, gave me a lot of ideas! best of luck with it!

Thanks man! Same goes to you. If all goes as I hope it does (at least what I'm hoping for at this point) then it will look much much different soon after Christmas :)

A bit taller? ! More rubber?

New rims and tires, and some headlight changes! Planning to basically copy what EChavez has done to his headlights (FXR retrofit, LED color change halos, clear the amber and install a switchback [or I may do a Chrome amber bulb, not sure on that one yet] and I'll put a slight twist in with some LED Color changing DRL strips! Just gotta make sure all finances allow for everything! The rims and tires are a definite though!

He has a sweet setup. Will look good. I'm just hoping for a level and new tires myself.

I'm still waiting to see pics of your truck! I've never seen you post any except for the amp steps and lights. And a level kit with new tires completely changes these trucks! They look so much better IMO leveled than with the nose dive. Can't wait to see how yours looks

Pretty stock DC blue granite. Amps, tonneau, stubby antenna and my jl 12 soon. Once that gets going I'll start a thread to start keeping pics. Not much to brag about yet. Level and rubber on stock 18s soon though. Can't keep up with y'all. [emoji38]

Everyone goes at their own pace! Just start a thread! Doesn't have to be decked out to start own! It just has to be decked out by the time you need to start a new thread for a new vehicle years later!

Any updates on the tuner?

Haven't gotten to drive it much. I put the performance tune on the first night and had a lot of fun! Honestly was able to break traction much easier than normal. But as for the economy tune I'm not quite sure. I really drive the truck mostly on the weekends. I will say that I was able to average 20MPG while averaging 78 on my way to school this weekend. Despite some traffic and a horrific rainstorm that brought me down to 70 for a little while.

So I haven't been able to do too much with the tune. But I'll try to get some time with it this weekend!

Sounds pretty good. I've been considering getting the Intune for my truck... I need to adjust my speedo for the tires, get some more throttle response, a bit more power, better shifts, maybe better fuel economy.

Up here in MI, we're seeing some really cold temps, today was averaging about 15degF with a 1degF windchill. Truck hates the cold... fuel mileage over my 60 mile round trip to work is averaging around 13.5MPG.

I have definitely seen improvements in all those categories! Except for the different tire size. I haven't needed to change that yet. I should need to do that late December :) and I'm still not sure about the fuel economy as I still have only had one real trip with the tuner so far. Hopefully I will see some high numbers on the way home this weekend.

And damn! I couldn't live there. I can't stand the cold. The lowest we have gone is around 30F with wind chills of around 19F. But the wind is usually so strong and constant that it's almost like you are sitting infront of a fan all day.

Glad to hear there's some good improvements. Driveability is really what I want to improve. Just need to find the money somewhere in my budget lol.

What's the plans for your truck as far as suspension and wheels/tires? Still keeping it a secret?

No secret on suspension plans. I think I have mentioned it a few times in this thread. I know I mentioned it in the 2014+ suspension thread. I have plans on a 4" lift with 35" tires. Debating on either a Zone off-road 4.5" or a Readylift 4". May do the Zone since they will bump the wheels out a bit more for a slightly wider stance. Also I am currently a bit on the fence about rims and tires. I am currently leaning toward a 22" Fuel Maverick with +25 offset and will wrap them in either 35x12.5x22 Toyo M/Ts or I will get Nitto trail grapplers 285/55/22 (12.05x34.53x22). I will likely go with the trail grapplers at first so I can put those and the rims on this Christmas and then get the lift this summer. Then after the trail grapplers have worn out, I will exchange for toyo M/Ts
