Mike1220
Okay so I got the truck about 2.5 months ago. I got a CC SB 2014 Sierra SLT white diamond tricoat with black interior. I got almost every option with the exception of the rear sliding window. Don't like the 3 broken windows. Here's how it came from the dealer: Magnaflow car back dual exit under the rear with 18" muffler Skyjacker level kit AFE Power Air Intake Here she is sitting next to my old ride. 2002 Yukon XL Denali Within the first couple weeks I purchased and installed a bed rug and BAK Roll-X tonneau cover Next was the addition of under the good light since GM decided that it was impossible for you to want to see the engine bay at night or in low light areas (In the second picture, the ONLY light that is on are the 2 light pods I added. They, along with the switch used, came from XKglow.com. They are the small 6 LED pods. Link here: http://www.xkglow.com/6_LED_Ultra_Bright_Motorcycle_Light_Pod_8pc_Pack_p/xk084001-8.htm) After that came bed step lights and an extra set of OEM bed lights, although the second set of OEM lights did not quite match the ones that came in the truck :/ The second set of bed lights really help add some needed light up front Along with the bed lights I changed my reverse and cargo lights to 50W LEDs! That tshirt is about 30 Ft away sittin on the back of a Lexus, that is to help show just how bright these lights are! And these cell phone pictures do them no justice! They don't completely look like it, but they are white for both! They, IMO, perfectly match the interior lights and the LED DRLs so I'm happy! Here are the bulbs: Being the light freak I am, I slept added footwell lighting that activate with the dome lights After that I went on to the brightest change in lighting DDMtuning.com 55W 5,000K HIDs with wire harness (no error code eliminators were used. Some said to get them so I did, but when I went to use them, they blew and the lights work fine for me without them so I'm not gonna worry about them) HIDs perfectly match the LED DRLs, when I saw that I was so excited! With my OCD, I already had a cart ready with another set of HIDs that would hopefully match the DRLs if these didnt, but thankfully they matched perfectly! And that should bring all the mods up to date. If I remember anything I'll post it up when I can! Future modifications include, but certainly aren't limited to: 30" or 40" LED bar behind grille LED courtesy / puddle lights that span the length of the step plate AMP research running boards 4" lift kit (most likely Rough Country so I can keep my stock rims, I've become a big fan of them) 33" or 34" tires when I get the lift Currently retrofitting a projector fog light housing into my fog lights so I can run HIDs without blinding others Driver assist handle, or as I prefer to call it, the "oh sh*t handle" May change out my windshield mount iRadar for an under the hood iRadar Stealth mounted wireless charging pad under center console instert More xkglow LED pods, I'll install 1 per wheel well for extra light around the truck when working at night and Incase if I have a blow out at night while traveling on the highway. I will hook the lights to work with the bed lights, just as I did with the bumper step lights *TBD* If you guys have any suggestions on modifications, any thoughts on parts to use for modifications I have mentioned, or any way to make my current mods better, feel free to share! I'm currently studying to become an Engineer so I'm always up for improving the technology that we have! Mike1220
Went ahead and put in a small extra light in the console. I noticed last night that it's pretty dark in there even with the stock LED in there. Before After: It's not overbearing bright, but it certainly helps to see everything in there. It is one of the XK pods I mentioned in the first post and have used in several other places. These little things are pretty nice. For install. All I had to do was pull up the rubber mat at the bottom of the console, unscrew and remove the access plate that is hidden under the mat, then I pulled out the stock LED and unclipped the wiring harness so I would have more room. Then, wire spliced to it. Then I just out everything back how it was in the first place. Took 20 minutes. Very easy but very helpful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aaron1085
Finally, well done! Subscribed. You've made a very clean and usefully modified truck there.
Mike1220
Thanks y'all! I'm a bit of a lighting freak! You can definitly tell by my last vehicle, but this truck won't be anything like the last one cause the last one was a bit overkill! I had an underbody kit (that eventually broke due to improper installation), 2-12" RF T1's in the back power by a RF 1500W constant power amp, interior 7 color footwell lights in the front and rear, changed all the dome lights to LED, LED strips under the headlights to mimic an Audi or Lexus (at the time, but now it mimics our trucks too), tailgate bar break light, LED license plate frame, mud flaps with brake lights. Like I said, it was a bit overkill on the lights, but this truck won't have half of those. This one is staying classy and the only mods are gonna be useful ones. Not ones for shiggles The last picture is probably my favorite picture of my old yukon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mike1220
Ordered bull bar yesterday and plastidipped grille emblem and the plastic trim that front license plate mounts too. Also I truck bed lined the black plastic pieces that the two hooks sit in. Looks good. I'll have it all back together later on and will post up some pics. Can't wait to see how it all comes out in the end! Still need to glossify the emblem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mike1220
I won't! I had to put another layer of paint on parts of the emblem before I left for work Here's what it was like after I sprayed it and before I left Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
