High Country Wheels

Recommended Posts

I like the 2014 GM 22's..... they seem to be the perfect wheels for this truck. Not boring... haha... I agree with the majority about the High Country wheels..... not a fan.

Yeah the high country that ended up with my original 22s was parked next to it. Same color and all. Pretty sure I want my wheels back.

I dont like the country anyways. But my concern would be potential warranty issues with the rims if it came to be an issue. If its not on the build sheet GM will not recognize it. So if I did take the 22's I would ensure that dealer documents it and and I have some sort of We owe you or other promissary note signed. But that then leads to the question of having a warranty issue out of state.

Do what nards? GM would have no issue with warranty on wheels as dealers swap GM wheels all the time.

I've got a high country. It wasn't my first choice and the wheels are not my favorite, but not the worst. I like the truck because it's different and only saw one other in my area. Plus the dealership made me a great deal.

Get what you want! You're the one paying for it.

Not saying for sure there would be a problem. All I am saying is I would want documentation on it. Would I risk going into a dealer on something that wasnt on my build sheet and asking for warranty repair, probably not

Just got a phone call. They are swapping them to the RD2 20's wheels I originally wanted. Feeling much better now.

Yeah, the RD2 is a pretty good looking wheel... should look good on your HC. I just bought a set of RD4's with tires and sensors that I'm going to run in the winter so I don't have to deal with road salt issues on my 22's.. They're the 5-spoke polished/clear-coated, so they'll be good for many winter driving seasons.
