2015 Sierra listed on a dealers site as Cayenne Metallic.

The actually color looks completely different then what the online builder shows. Online it looks for like a Copperhead Orange Metallic. That actually color looks more like the burnt orange that they use to offer in 1999 to about 2004/05. I remember it would change color and look everything from orange to a brown.

there is a whole set of special order colors that Gm makes for sierra/silverado. the thing is, if you order one, it will only get picked up for production when they have about 100 to do at once. they get used for gov, companies, DOT's,etc. but you can get them. ill try and post a pic of the different colors available.

What happens if they do not get enough units to paint do they then cancel the order?

they don't. ive seen quite a few special order trucks and never had one not get picked up. my manager said GM will just make a smaller run if it has too.

My 1983 Chevy truck had that color which I kept for 18 years.
