Recommend a Weather App!!!

I have used Accuweather's mobile app for about 4 years now. As any of you who use it know, they recently updated it and now it's terrible. Takes forever to load the data initially. Tons of scrolling just to get to the radar, and on my iPhone 4s it "lags" as you scroll, almost like it's trying to load things as you scroll. The old style had a tab for current, hourly, daily, and radar; all you had to do was click the tab you wanted. Loaded much quicker too. I can't be the only one who hates the "new" style. Obviously it was designed by an idiot.

It's been over two weeks since the "update" and I can't take it anymore. They haven't reverted to the old version yet or even offered a "classic" version, so I'm ending the Accuweather era.

I need suggestions for a new weather app, preferably tab based instead of all this stupid scrolling. It'd be nice if it did push notifications, when I'm farming or driving it's nice to have it just pop up and tell you what's going on. It needs to have radar and a decent daily forecast.

tl;dr, Accuweather's new app blows and I want a different one.

I use weatherbug. It sends alerts sometimes for severe weather but not always. Don't know why. Otherwise it's great. Especially the lightening detection- it can tell you down to like the tenth of a mile how close lightening is.

Edit- this post got me curious so I checked. Turned out I had notifications off actually. So we'll see how it goes now. For what it's worth I have an iPhone 5S and it runs fine on it. No lagging or lockup.

The clock widget on my phone uses Accuweather but i never use it. I have The Weather Channel app installed but mostly use the weather app produced for the local TV station. The TWC app works fine and if you punch enough buttons you can get to an hourly forecast. The other app is called Storm Team 12 and is my go to app. I don't know who actually makes it but it is pretty basic and unobtrusive. It will open to the radar map for a set location or current depending on settings and won't bother you with alerts unless you choose. You can also turn on/off status bar notifications. I don't think it will do push notifications. I'm using a GS3 using Android 4.3

Well I tried the weather channel, it took too long to load and was glitchy sometimes.

Downloaded weatherbug and I like it a lot. It is the fastest loading out of all the apps I tried. Windspeed, etc seem to be accurate, and it's easy to pick a station so you can get info closest to you. The push notifications seem to work well, all I've had so far is a fire warning though. Another cool feature is the lightning tab, I can definitely make use of that while I'm fishing.
