Did mine today at 953 miles. Went smooth no mess. Only thing is that I put in 8 quarts of oil thinking that after it ran a bit I would top it off but it still is showing high on the stick. Not too worried bout it I will just adjust for next time. maybe this is how GM fixed the usage issue they just recalibrated the dipstick to be too full !! J/K.

I Guess I Must Have It Easy. I Change My Oil At My Buddys Shop. He Just Charges Me For Oil And Filter. Since I Do All The Work On My Truck.

except that you are paying for oil and filter and doing the labor....were getting it done for free.

I was going to change my own oil until I stop at my dealership to ask what oil they use and the cost. Billion Automotive uses 0-20w Service Pros Full Synthetic for only $39.95. I would have to spend more than that to change it myself using Mobil One.

Just had my 1st oil change done today at 4200 miles. Had it done when I took it in for the recall service on the transmission cooler lines. Dealer quoted me about 2 hours. Wife picked me up to run errands and they called me in 45 minutes that it was ready! Invoice for recall, oil change, tire rotation and multipoint inspection was $77- but I paid $0.00. Too bad they didn't wash it while it was there :fingersx: My wife had a Saturn in the early 90's. They always washed & vacuumed it when taken in for service.

Toyota Dealer here does that with our Camry for its free maintenance.

Just changed mine for the first time at 5,200 mile with DIC showing 33%. Ran great before and runs great now. Dealer says don't worry until you hit the 20% range or at least another 5,200 miles. 3 more free to go!

I have 3700 on mine now, haha in 3 weeks! Truck is used and abused and oil looked a little dark. I wanted to chance at 1000, but always driving the damn thing. Changing it out this weekend at home.

Mine has just over 2600 miles on it and I have changed oil three times during break-in 1st at 400, 2nd 1100, 3rd 1850. First 2 filters I cut open were really nasty and the media pleats were starting to collapse but the 3rd looked good.

I did some really hard pulls and coasting also full heat cycles and full cool downs on it during these early miles. Now I will get the free Dealer Oil changes. Oh and I bought it in July.

Just hit 1500 miles on my 2015 6.2 I decided to do an oil change on saturady, went with Valvoline 0w-20 dexos approved and the AC Delco filter. Oil looked much dirtier than I expected for that mileage. My plan now is to have the dealer change it at 3,000 then just go my the monitor and have the rest of the free oil changes done at around 30% life until the maintenance is back in my hands.
