Hopefully your dealer can handle the oil changes without messing up like mine did. oil change was fine, they rotated and re-balanced my tires (which didn't need to be balanced) to which then I immediately had vibrations on the highway. Seems every tire was off by over an ounce. Had to take it back over to Discount tire to have them fix what the dealer mechanic messed up.

That's a sweet deal, I guess I need to head to wally world, lol.

I looked everywhere! Best deal I could find. Wally's individual quarts are $7.45. $5 bucks a qt this works out to be... Yes please!

Has anyone done thier own oil change? Just wondering how easy/difficult it may be.

Easier than a lot of cars. What I liked was the drain plug and the filter are close enough together they both drain into a single catch post. What I didn't like was the exhaust cross pipe is right where you want to put your head when you're removing the filter. (Don't ask how I found that out) :nonod:

1st oil changed at 1,045 miles(my own piece of mind) with Mobil 1! Easier than I thought it was going to be. Both drain and filter in decent spot to get to once I found it. Didn't seem like it would be so far back and at 1st I thought I was gonna have to remove the undershield. Nope all nicely located behind. Makeshifted a catch bowl for the oil to shoot into then drain into pan. Just laid a papertowel on cross member for oil drippage when loosening the filter. Otherwise I could see it being a complete mess from both. Used a long skinny flex funnel for adding which fit perfectly into the fill hole so no mess there. Next one will be at 5k, then from there every 5k.

How do the "free" oil changes work from the dealer? Will they do it any time you want? Or does it have to be by the recommended service schedule? Is it unlimited for 2 years or just a certain quantity. I guess my salesman did not do a good job of explaining this.

you get 4 oil changes for the 2 year period. No mileage requirement, but once you use them up that is all you get for the 2 years. I do mine every 5000-7500 miles.

You may want to ask the dealer, some may allow greater variances. I bought a 2013 a year ago April & they(factory, not dealer promo) had the 2 yr maintenance deal going with those too. BUT the catch was the Oil Life Monitor had to be less than 10 or 15% for them to do the change. It was written in the paperwork you had to sign for the deal. Changed it out on my own somewhere between 1000-1100 miles. Just bought the oil for the second change at roughly 6,000 miles yesterday.
