I assume that handle replaces whole factory piece thats already there, correct?

Yes. Remove the plastic from pillar and replace the whole thing with 2 bolts provided.

couple orders im expecting this week.

saw that www.shopchevyparts.com had the cargo LED lights on sale from $135 down to $95 so i went ahead and ordered them. the LED that came with the cap is bright but the way they connected it i have to have the parking lights on to turn it on. so at least these are controlled by the button in the cab and i think will turn off automatically after a while.

also saw that a member on here Kodiakz is selling the factory HMI flashed with factory nav and GPS antenna. it is a plug and play and seems pretty easy to install so i ordered that.

both are due friday so will post pics up after it is all installed.

so the lights are definitely bright ... very happy with how they came out.

also i received the OEM nav from kodiakz. it only took 30 mins to install and is all factory with all the factory functions. take out the glove box drop old module reconnect the wires .. then just place the antenna under the passenger side speaker run the wire down and it is done.

so if you dont have a nav unit this addition will add nav weather gas price traffic ( need travel link from XM) and like i said it is OEM so all the OEM functions like it cam from factory.

Thats sweet. I'm going to have to look into that. Did you say it requires XM to be able to use it?
