My new 2014 Silverado (Throttle Body Spacer?)

Hi, I just bought a 2014 Sliverado LT Z71 Crew Cab/Short Box about 10 days ago. I'm installing the BAKFlid F1 cover and BAKBox 2, and Pop&Lock Electric Tailgate lock this weekend, along with the AFE CAI from the link below.

AFE also offers a Throttle Body Spacer (link below), but I was wondering if adding one really helps anything? Any opinions?

I'm also ordered Raptor Nerf Bars, but they were back ordered and won't get here for a couple of weeks.
