Stock control arms: Steel or aluminum?

I believe a few 6.2L trucks posted about having AL control arms.

 

2016 GMC Sierra SLT 4x4 Z71 cc short bed 5.3L 8-speed w/ towing package: steel

 

Made in Mexico.

build date 1-6-2016 Denali 4x4 CC short bed 6.2 8 spd 3.23 Steel upper and lower. Looks pretty sturdy I like it. My tradein was a 14 SLT 4x4 Z71 CC short bed 5.3 6spd 3.42 it had aluminum arms on it.

2014 Silverado LT. 4x4, 1500 DBL cab, 6.5 ft bed, 5.3L, 3.42 w/tow pkg. Stock control arms are steel. Magnet tested

The only difference that it makes is the bolts for one kit is longer than the other (steel vs aluminum). We install a lot of rough country leveling kits and after finally speaking to rough country, they informed us one kit will work for both, just the bolts will be longer.
