Camaro mirror in Sierra / Silverado?

Has anyone replaced the rear view mirror with the frameless one from new Camaro?

I have a friend at Gentex (who makes these) who was supposed to look into this. I'll have to get on his case I guess. I think he needs part numbers to compare though.

Depends on the Camaro trim level. The 2SS package the mirror Auto dims.

yea they look nice, but those frame-less mirrors get finger prints reaaaalllly easy.

Have the mirror myself and love it. Would be cool to see if it could be put in the trucks.

yeah the frameless is only available in a 2SS Camaro and it is auto dim

 

one thing I just remembered though when I had my Camaro. Every time I looked in my rearview, I saw red and blue and freaked me out for a sec haha
