Finally got a scanner

Larry

Recommended Posts

The lady demoing a HP 2210 printer, fax, scanner, copier, butt wiper, etc at Sam's Club suckered me into buying one.  It works pretty good too.  I ran across a couple pictures of my college ride so I thought I would give the ole scanner a try and see how they work.

It was a 1990 that I bought in 1993 then sold in 1996 before I moved to Detroit.  Pretty good little truck…not too bad off road either.

I don't have any pics of my college rides.  That's probably a good thing because I doubt you'd want to see pics of a 1979 Ford Fiesta and a 1983 Chevy Chevette "S".

BTW, those little Toyotas were pretty good off road if they had a lift and bigger tires... (nice truck)

#### yeah Toyotas are bad a$$ off road.  I've built three buggies and run them into the ground, lakes and other super natural objects that a truck couldn't possibly live threw.  I'm currently putting a 350 EFI out of a 94 Chevy k1500 into my 85 Toyota.... The little 22R just ain't cutting it no more the turbo is nice but still not enough.  Yeah I own a toyota but I just wheel in it.  And it's always pulled by a Domestic mostly a Chevy...

Larry, I would have never thought that possible, especially for someone whos sig reads: chevy gmc chevy chevy chevy chevy chevy chevy chevy....

Just messing w/ ya

I know, I know it just doesn't seem my style.  Seems that I would have owned an S-10 instead but I have always been a closet Toyota fan and have never cared much for the looks or stance of S-10’s plus it takes too much money to make an S-10 look and work right.  This Toy was a good little truck…a bit on the gutless side here in the high altitude but in 50k miles I only changed the oil, brakes, tires and a water pump then resold it for $1800 less than what I paid for it.  So it cost me less than 2K plus maintenance to drive it for 3 years….not too bad.  I really wanted to throw a 4.3 in it to wake it up but I was just too broke to do it cuz those huge $190 a month truck payments were killing and I was sinking all my money into building my 68’ GMC at the time.
