Everything else feels so small

So I went from years of driving sedans to owning a GMC Sierra. Well, the truck's sitting around waiting for a part to come in, and I've been driving my wife's CR-V. Holy crap does that thing feel small now. It used to feel so much bigger back when I was driving a Civic. It doesn't feel as small when I'm riding in it, but I really notice the difference when I drive it. Amazing, the difference.

What does it feel like for you guys when you get in someone else's non-truck vehicle??

I went from an 11 Silverado to a Cruze. Felt a lot different, but I like driving it around town better than I did the truck. Just has more zip to it I guess since it's smaller.

Try driving a lifted crew cab and having to drive a 2013 chevy spark for 3 days... talk about a bad experience..sent from my truck in a field

That's so funny, because I drive a lifted crew cab and I almost had to rent a car. And I probably would have rented a Spark because not only was it the cheapest rental and the HOV lane access would have been nice. That would have indeed been an odd experience. Let me know if you need to talk to someone. You are so brave. I ... just don't know if I could have handled that. I would have likely needed a padded room.

When Grandma was stilll alive and I took care of her yard, I'd often take her 91 Civic to the gas station to fill up a can as it was sometimes last in the driveway if she came home when I stopped over. That felt like riding in a gocart after being in the truck.

I know what you all mean...........been running errands in the wife's Buick Regal the last few days, it's just easier to jump in it and take off, easier to maneuver and park, ect. Takes a while of driving the Sierra for the size and cumberness to wear off.

I can visualize some of you absolutely freaking out when driving an actual sports(not muscle) car.

Lol, especially being in an older Vette when it suddenly breaks loose.(Can't imagine the Holy ____ moment the first time a Viper does it, I've heard and read about it, but its supposed to be a lot more sudden and violent)

One of my friends had a 2000 WS6 Firebird. That was one of the few powerful cars I got to really drive good. Also drove a 2004/5 STI. That was probably slower overall but it launched like a beast.
