Giving me ideas for my truck

More build pics, some from before I joined the Forum, some things I did over the weekend. A few full shots of the truck because someone asked to see it.

I finished the steering wheel, did the Plastic tray on the top of the console lid, and Rally stripes on the hood. Also a shot of the AVS snap in vent visors i did first but wrapped them in flat black 3M 1080 vinyl. De-badged truck last week after work one night. The red “Bowtie” in the back window is reflective vinyl and lights right up at night when headlights hit it, it has been my signature on every truck I’ve owned since 1996.

Exhaust didn’t come so that is still in the works. While at the parts store ordered wheels: 20” Rockstars - black (up from the 18” stock wheels) and 33” Nitto Terra Grapplers to wrap them with, 2 1/2” Readylift Level kit, Rigid reverse light kit. … I guess it’s on now!

Exhaust is done

Now on to the lift kit and Wheels / Tires…… Stay tuned...

How do you like those AVS rain guards? I assume they came in the "smoke" finish? Why aren't they on your double cab doors?

The rain guards are nice, they are the snap ins… obviously. Go on in 2 seconds, no noise no rattle. I always had the type that stick to the outside but hated they way they looked. i like how clean looking the snap ins look. They were originally “smoke” finish but i wrapped them in 3M 1080 matte black vinyl, everyone that realizes they are not smoke likes them.

Hmmm the double cab windows……. well that is a long story and to save you the boring details. The first set were shipped as crew cab size, and made the fatal mistake of wrapping and installing the fronts before checking. The replacement set I received that the dealer charged me his cost for were all broken in half when i opened the package. I received a full refund for everything so these ended up free! I actually like it with just the fronts done after all, never early like the backs done, think they stand out too much.

They are AVS, you should be able to order them from anyone that carries them…. this was an ebay purchase that went bad from the start. The seller made good on it though so I have to give them that much!
