Spark Plug Wires

Recommended Posts

They're all good.  Taylor is good, MSD is good (and my preferred choice), Accel, Magnacor....albeit I had problems with teh Magnacor's being too short on my LS1 and popping off the plug and shorting out.  At which time I switched back to MSD.

Problem is, no one has anything out for the 8.1.  I've been eagerly watching for a set of 8.1 wires from anyone (preferably in blue).  You could always buy just the wire itself and make your own connectors and boots.  It's not that hard.

msd's wire are rated at 40ohms of resistance per foot, and the accel spiral core super stock wires i have are about 150 ohms per foot, which yields greater spark energy at the plug and less chance of misfire. most of the good wire brands(msd, accell, taylor) have excellent rfi suppression, & silicone outer jacket that'll last a long time, longer than oe wires.

msd wires claim to have rfi suppression equal to wires of 1500 ohms resistance per foot.
