Hail blanket

Just curious if anyone has one or knows another place to buy them. I found a website that has them custom made for the 2014 trucks for $580. Was thinking if enough people are interested we might be able to set up a group buy and get a discount.

DO you live somewhere with a hail problem??? In the rare chance that it hails, go throw a couple of old comforters on the hood and roof... lol save your $580.00

Damn I had that idea a few years ago. It's a pretty helpless feeling leaving your car unprotected and the weather takes an unexpected turn. My issue was when I was in class for an hour + when it MIGHT hail but never did or when there was a zero% chance of hail when of course it did. I started paying to park in a parking garage in the end.

Yeah I live in Alberta and we get the occasional golf ball hail storms. I'm in the same boat where I can't quickly run out and toss some blankets over my truck.

I don't know how much they are in Canada, but here you can buy a carport for $600. If that's a possibility for you I'd go that way.

I don't like the idea of a cover because with storms comes wind. I think 100 mph wind could definitely cause some scuffing due to the cover. Could even tear it off. Maybe it isn't a concern in your area. Here it is, gusts of 109 in town last summer.
