I recently got my 2014 Z71 Double Cab Sierra in the Cobalt Blue. I really wanted this color in the All Terrain model, but that was one of the 3 colors the AT didn't come in unfortunately. I've also heard the Cobalt Blue is done after 2014. A GM rep told me the new blue color coming out is a little bit lighter.

 

Anyways, I'm very happy with my truck so far. I get lots of compliments on the color. When the sun is directly on it, it almost pops out like an electric blue. This Sierra has the Cocoa Dune interior and I've added a Leer 700 Series Tonneau cover to it. The 700 Series is molded to match the lines of the hood. In the rear photo, you can see the two raised "humps" on the cover. I had this same model cover on my 2005 Silverado and it was great. Color match is perfect, and I never had any issues with water or moisture inside.

Have my 2014 Silverado Blue Topaz, cocoa dune interior on order, will post pics when it comes in, hopefully next week. traded my 2014 Silverado Ruby Red in for it.

The blue does look good. As for the cocoa dune, I think it looks best with the white diamond tricoat.

I'm really frustrated they aren't offering this color for the 2015s. I went and test drove one today and unfortunately it had that vibration problem many people have in the problems subforum. I mean maybe the deep ocean blue will be similar or nicer but this is a real bummer.

I'm really hoping it's not a navy blue. Lighter would be ok if it's not too green or girly.

I'm really frustrated they aren't offering this color for the 2015s. I went and test drove one today and unfortunately it had that vibration problem many people have in the problems subforum. I mean maybe the deep ocean blue will be similar or nicer but this is a real bummer.

Thanks man. Suck there are no real pictures out there. I was just at a different dealership and he said it would be closer to the blue granite metallic. If it is similar to that pic it wouldn't be bad because that is almost the same as blue topaz/cobalt.

 

I'm wondering if it will be a bit lighter closer to this, similar to that blue the ford trucks. This wouldn't be too bad.
