Chevy VS Ford

Ford and Chevy continue to be stiff competitors out there. Ford does seem to excel though in many areas. If you want speed the Ford Mustang will out do the Chevy Corvette hands down. Chevy is in the process of making a come back with the Chevy Camaro but fans of the Camaro aren't taking to the new design very well.

The Camaro editions actually outdo the Mustang in some instances. One of the mags did a 1LE vs Boss and ZL1 vs GT500 and despite power advantages to Ford the Chevys were faster around the track.

New design? It's been out since 09 (MY2010)

I think he must mean the 2014 refresh especially since the Camaro has occasionally outsold the Mustang.

I wouldn't call a "refresh" a new design change. Outsold since they have been reintroduced. There is no occasionally.

I noticed at the Chicago autoshow that the new 15 mustang wasn't very popular. People were hanging around the old model more than the new one.

Honestly, I think GM has less to worry about now then ever.

Why?

Look at the hideous crap Ford is rolling out these days. The new F-150 is absolutely, disgustingly ugly. Aluminum body panels? That's all fine on paper, but these panels will be so thin and soft, that a simple rock impact will turn into an unrepairable event. Aluminum is not a good metal for body panels. Once it's bent, it will stay that way. Good luck bending back soft aluminum, and pulling out a dent will be a thing of the past.

The new Mustang looks like a copy of an Aston Martin. It's like Ford just had no clue which direction to go, so they decided to just puke out a car that is the next Mustang.

GM's new designs are playing out extremely well. The only real issue is GM pricing, which is far too high right now. As far as the product goes, GM has a lot of solid winners that will carry them through and on.

These videos always get me... all the manufacturers do these and its always slanted.... This one though, makes sense. the Super Duty is a 90's design. it can't keep up with the engineering going into the competition. will you ever put that much stress on your truck? probably not. But I'd like to think that if you ever did you wouldn't screw up your gate...

I make fun of GM every now and then. Because of ...well...let's skip it.

But I agree with your statement.
