Dyno pull results and Corsa Sport Start up

Did you ever remove the 3rd cat? If so did it improve the sound of your Corsa exhaust?

I have the same setup in my truck. About a week after I installed the corsa exhaust, I removed the 3rd cat. It made it a little louder, but it still has a really nice clean sound

Thanks Joe, exactly what I was hoping to hear. I'm headed to muffler shop at my first opportunity.

Before delivery I had the dealership install GM Performance exhaust part number 23462043 made by Corsa (TMG) but quieter than a Corsa Sport system. Although made by Corsa it is manufactured to GM specs which I read on another forum is similar in sound to the Corsa Touring which sounds better than stock but needs a little more attitude . It's of excellent quality and finish like all Corsa systems with all mandrel bent 3.5" stainless tubing and a large double wall tip...I just want it to be a 'little' louder.

Another option I'm considering is to purchase a catted mandrel bent stainless Y-Pipe from Texas Speed for $170 and have it installed in place of factory Y-Pipe and oem cats. It would require additional tubing along with factory style flanges to mate to factory exhaust manifolds and when completed would be a well made piece with under $450 invested. Although not cheap, it could easily be removed and replaced with oem Y-Pipe in case of warranty issues which is important to me for added piece of mind. I'll be trading in my inTune from my 2011 and paying roughly $280 difference for the new inTune expected to be available by end of February. I was going to purchase the inTune anyway so not counting that as part of my exhaust budget. On my 2011 Silverado 1500 with 6.2 I had my tranny go bad and repaired under warranty so it is worth something to me to keep some odds on my side regarding vehicle warranty.
