My Sierra Z71 SLT came with the lighter grain wood which I found kind of weird. Or does it not apply to Sierras and only Silverados?

Not sure. Ive made some calls on the trim because I want to change mine, and it seems from what ive been able to find out...

they have model specific trim.. in the base models its a piece of black plastic, with the sle and lt models its a piece of gray that matches the dash, with the slt and ltz its wood grain ect

when it gets iffy is the wood grain. there seems to be no rhyme or reason at some points. one is supposed to go in a denali or high country and one is for slt and ltz but if they were running low of one they would grab the other ect...

Hey Guys, I have been doing this bit by bit when I have the time to spend so it gets done right. This is 3M 1080 Carbon Fiber wrap. It is easy to work with and the hardest part of doing it is to take your time and be good with an xacto knife. I own a graphics company so I have access to all this vinyl wrap material and am used to doing it. Some of the pieces were removed some were done in place. Thought you would like to check it out seeing that there is an ongoing discussion.

This was exactly the info I was searching for but need a little more.
For the denali it looks as though the wheel and nav surround are lighter than the A/T. Is that right or just how it looks in photos? Is looks to me that the A/T wheel and dash surround trim a darker gray or an aluminum-like appearance or just is it just solid color?

Id like to take out the wood and the lighter color trim from the denali and replace with a aluminum or just darker solid gray. I cannot stand the faux wood I think its so out of place.

Id like to get as dark and non-wood looking as possible in appearance.
Does anyone know the part numbers to swap out all the denali wood trim and the wheel and dash trim?
Is there an online source everyone prefers or should I use the dealer? I'm not thrilled with my dealer parts department. Trying to get wheels was a 4 week ordeal with them because they are morons.

If I had the part #'s I'd rather do it online.

see my posts in here. I posted part numbers for the pieces that match the grey dash pieces. I am doing this myself. Not a fan of the wood. Maybe if I had the cocoa interior but not with the light titanium..

try page 2.. I think thats where they are listed.

I've had some race car and boat parts hydro dipped and they turned out very nice. You can do any color carbon fiber, any wood grain of your imagination, flame patterns, camo patterns, skulls and even $100 dolla bills if you wanted to show off. LOL If you're not familiar with it do an online search for hydro graphics and/or hydro dip graphics. Its a pretty neat process. If I get froggy and yank out my wood pattern pieces in my High Country I'm going to have them done in some other pattern but haven't made my mind up yet. I think a lighter Burl wood pattern would look nice with my saddle interior.

I checked the link. Said it does not fit the '14 sierra. I think it must be only for chevy.

The part numbers listed on first pages of the post, are they for GMC or Chevy?
Is the Reverse Tartan a gmc or chevy interior? I cant seem to find anything that is applicable for the gmc's. Maybe they are universal?
I just don't know. I wish the parts guy at the dealer had even half a clue. When I tried to explain what I wanted to do he looked at me as if I were speaking latin and after I explained everything said "well, your truck should come with those parts already and they will be woodgrain so you don't need anything else." I spent 5 minutes speaking slowly with 5th grade words explaining how I did NOT want woodgrain and wanted something/anything else. I still don't totally understand the philosophy of putting fake wood plastic parts in a $60k vehicle that has no real woodgrain'ish overall design to it. Everything else is new, modern, digital, etc. How does woodgrain fit in with that?

give your dealer the part numbers I listed. they are for a crew cab. will be able to pull them up instantly.

I'd like to replace my grey LT trim pieces with plain black... I'll have to check out the eBay link posted above.

work trucks come with black that matches door trim material. easily could put those in
