Replacing Interior Wood & Metal Trims

Recommended Posts

got some info today
they do make a grey that matches the other grey on the dash. Its called syntheses.
crew cab part numbers are
front L 22837159 fr R 22837150
rear L 22837201 R 22837192

also if you have the center console, you need the console unit, it is number 22995093

These are standard in LT trucks and are the same colors as the dash pieces and steering wheel pieces.
the reverse tartan are the carbon fiber looking pieces, which I dont like.
I will be swapping mine out in the very near future.
if anyone wants the wood pieces vs the grey pieces let me know maybe we can work out a trade..

Do you know if they're real aluminum?

I am not 100% sure but 99.999999 they are just plastic. The WT and LS models come with a black plastic piece that matches the hard black plastic on the dash, the LT gets the painted grey ones that match the trim on the dash and steering wheel and the LTZ get the wood trim and the z71 get the carbon fiber looking ones. All are just plastic with different colors. I dont know about the Sierra as I only had access to chevy today. I think they are similar to be honest

I do know I am taking the wood out of mine. if it were a darker wood it would be different but with my interior the lighter wood stands out. so I am going to spend the money to swap them. I almost had the dealer willing to do a trade but they were worried about the clips breaking and such so I have to buy them. Getting the parts at exact cost though so not awful. and I figure I can ebay the wood ones to get some of the cost back.

worth it to me

Gotcha... I'd like to change to the Denali's darker "wood" but not sure it's worth spending $300+

I am coming up price wise under that mark.. "I think" I need to verify with my contact but for me its worth it.

the darker wood would look better IMO, the light wood might work with the cocoa dune but not with black or in my case the dark ash.. stands out way to much

I did a vehicle search online of the one containing the trim that I liked. Once I found it I used that VIN to call my dealer to have them look up the numbers. I really want the Denali trim pieces but they don't offer Denali in double cab models so I would have no matching back door trim. My next fav was the reverse tartan from the LTZ Z71.

Hey Sooperdave. You wouldn't happen to have the part numbers for the Denali wood trim (Preferably dark) would you?

I do not. Get you a VIN off a Denali and then call your local dealership with that and ask them to look up the parts. That's what I did to search the ones I'm interested in. Sure wish the Denail was offered in the DoubleCab as I would REALLY like to have those trim pieces.

I'm super interested in changing all my wood trim to the "aluminum" looking trim.. Are those part numbers the same for Sierra's as well?

Thanks!!

the part numbers I posted are the silver trim that matches the dash trim pieces in a chevy, I would think they would also be the same for the sierra, but use those numbers and call your local part guy to check

I just added all the pieces to my shopping cart but man it's $288.37 for everything.

Think I might just go with the wrap option for now

From a quick look, the trim piece look to be the same. The center console seems to be an easy swap... Anyone adventured into changing out the door pieces?

mine will be done in a week or so. should all be clips. if there is tape involved or anything else ill post.
