Replacing Interior Wood & Metal Trims

Recommended Posts

I would like to replace the wood trim on my door panels with the aluminum finish pieces to match my dash surround. Does anyone know the part numbers to them for a crew cab? Are they just snapped in or glued on?

Not sure about replacing it, but someone posted a pic of their wood trim that had been wrapped with 3M wrap that looked like carbon fiber. I have to say - it looked damn good and I'm thinking of having mine done....once I finally pick it up.

I think it was on the "post pics of your truck" thread, but I'm not sure.

If I ever get my truck the dealer ordered the pieces to swap out. There are 5 different finishes I have the part numbers for the "reverse tartan" ones that come on the Z71 on my work computer. I can post them up tomorrow. The dealer hit me about $32 each which was better than I could have gotten them for wholesale (I own a repair shop)

Does anyone know how these trim pieces come off? I was able to get the pieces on the front doors off but I can't get the back doors or the center console ones to come off.

For Double Cabs like me the numbers the last two numbers(rear doors) will be:

LR 22837214

RR 22837202

And for the full center console trim plate which contains both trim pieces:

22995085

See attached pic. The area in red is all one piece, consisting of usb/power panel, top side rails, and plastic panel running in front of console. Remove by prying up corners closest to center console, working your way forward. You'll have to unplug back of usb/power panel items to remove completely. After you do, flip it over and you'll see the tabs holding the wood trim in place.

does anyone have the part numbers for just the silver ones that match the dash trim. the z71 which is the reverse tartan are carbon fiber looking vs the silverado LT trim is silver matching. I cant seem to find a proper name for the trim color or part numbers. If you have them, quote me so I see thanks!

I did a vehicle search online of the one containing the trim that I liked. Once I found it I used that VIN to call my dealer to have them look up the numbers. I really want the Denali trim pieces but they don't offer Denali in double cab models so I would have no matching back door trim. My next fav was the reverse tartan from the LTZ Z71.
