On two occasions now while taking the truck out of 4WD the power seats starts to close in on me and the gas and break pedals start to move. Dealership today couldn't replicate it and I have been searching and found nothing. Am I alone on this one?

No.

I have a 2017 highcountry with the 6.2 .when I put in 4x4 auto and if I try to turn it acts like if it has all four tires locked into 4x4

Front axles are engaged:

AUTO (Automatic Four-Wheel Drive) : Use when road surface traction conditions are variable. When driving in AUTO, the front axle is engaged, and the vehicle's power is sent to the front and rear wheels automatically based on
Driving and Operating 303
driving conditions. This setting provides slightly lower fuel economy than 2 m. Do not use AUTO mode, if equipped, to park on a steep grade with poor traction such as ice, snow, mud, or gravel. In AUTO mode only the rear wheels will hold the vehicle from sliding when parked. If parking on a steep grade, use 4 m to keep all four wheels engaged.
