2014 LTZ 2WD Locking Diff Question.

Has anyone actively used the electronic locking rear diff in any situation? If so how did it respond with the traction control braking? My concern is if I am in a situation where I need the rear end to lock a. Will it be true posi and b. will the traction control limit my capabilities with that option?

Is it a selectable electric locker? As far as I know it is still a mechanical locker that eill automatically activate with wheel speed difference of 100 rpm

it's still the g80. if you have traction control on im not sure if it will even lock as traction control will reduce power before the tire spins enough times for the locker to lock. if there is a situation that you need it I would turn traction control off for sure and then once it locks you will know it because you will hear it and feel it. and yes it will be 100% posi when its locked.

Pretty sure I felt mine kick with traction control on the other day.

Mine locked even with traction control. Truck drifted sideways on the snow/ice almost instantly once the diff locked.

Thank You, I live in southeast Texas so as far as Ice/snow I do not see much (except for today) I am a tropical person so ill stay home haha. I was really wondering for my hunting lease, my previous vehicle was a Avalanche and it just had limited slip 2x2.
