The bugs of new models...

The trucks are awesome, it even talks, does what you tell it. Tells you where to go in a female voice life is grand. As long it doesn't leave me on the side of the road all is good.

Maybe I'm easy to please. I absolutely love this truck! I've had four new Chevys, three pickups and an El Camino. My '95 had to go back for a stuck parking brake pedal. It stuck in the off position. I built hot rods in my misspent youth.

My '14 LTZ 4WD is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned period. Sure I had to take it in for the "fire" recall and they did the new regulator for the sliding rear window, but that window was working perfectly before, and the truck damn sure didn't catch fire. it rides like a luxury car, has a nice leather interior, and electronics that are amazing. I can back up to stuff and it tells me when I getting close. Same thing in the front. It looks beautiful and makes my friends envious, and I know four guys who bought new F 150 Fords this year.

I know I could jump in it right now and drive anywhere in total comfort and reliability.

Me Too. Yes my rear slider was fixed before I got it, and I had the re-program done last week, but this is the best truck I have ever owned. No rattles, shifts smooth. Spins the tires when I want to...It's Blue and the girls love it... HAHA... Best truck ever.

I have a 14 SLT All Terrain with power rear slider (actually have the recall done for it next week) and havent had any major problems yet *knock on wood*. The MPG it just horrid. My 5.3 has been getting around 11 mpg

11? You have a really heavy right foot?

11 MPG is definitely too low, even if you drive hard. Something is wrong.

The rear sliding window is now available again. I ordered my Silverado on Dec 23rd and I got the 250.00 credit. But I just heard from Gm customer service that it is now available and my truck now shows it in the RPO code list as it has a TPW of Fed 3rd.

Did you have to tell your dealer to make sure it got added back on or did it get added automatically, did the 250 credit come back off the build?

I ordered mine and it wasnt available, I want the window though. so hoping this works out for me as well

I think Northside just sealed a deal for me to jump! That's the feedback I was looking for on how awesome the 14 model is. I was almost sold on going the Ford route until I drove a Ford EB and just wasn't pleased with its performance. It was nice but I'm thinking my power needs lie in a 6.2. It took me a while but these new 14's have really grown on me. I currently own a G8, had a Trailblazer SS before that, a Harley F150 (SC) before that... So I'm looking to get back into a truck and I want something with some nuts to it. I'm not looking for a race truck but a fun to drive well equipped truck. Sierra SLT 6.2 Max DoubleCab is what I'm after now. Wish me luck and keep the good feedback coming.

I just read that they were available again and I PM'ed GM customer service and Jenifer T said that according to my order it now shows RPO Code A48: Window, Power Rear Sliding is now included with my order. I haven't checked my dealer yet but my salesman is out of the office due to medical issues till mid Feb. My order shows a TPW (targeted production week) of Feb 3rd if it makes any difference, so I assume it was automatically added again. I am not sure about the 250.00 credit but I assume I will have to pay it as I am getting the supplier discount but we will have to see when my salesman is back in the office. How far along is your order nomadicdogg??

Just got mine, only has 700 km on it... But I love it so far. It's night and day from the last 3 I've had... A 2000, 2007, and a 2013..

As soon as you sit in it and drive it, you feel how solid it is. I don't feel like I'm gonna break my front end like the last three I had. She's solid.
