1973 RX3 Mazda, saved my money from age 12 to 17 for a car. My parents figured that car was harmless, ha ha they where wrong. I was hell on wheels, top end was non stop.We had half days at school so I worked for Dad running parts 60000 miles in the first year. The only thing that didn't break was that rotory engine, that was fun. Barracuda next.

1987 K10 Silverado. Bought it from the original owner with 77k miles on it. It was all stock. Added a 6" lift and 35's, along with true dual 18" glasspacks. Added a few other little things like a stereo, warn hubs, tool box, bumper guards, etc. over the years. I had to sell it when I went to college. Dang, I miss that truck. :(

Bought a 1973 Pontiac GTO from a farmer in 1980. Brown metallic paint, black bucket/center console interior. Blew the engine about 5000 miles later. Got a 400 2 barrel out of a junked Catalina, swapped out the intake manifold and rochester quadrajunk and it was faster than when I bought it. Dropped a cylinder in 1987 and sold it to a buddy for $500.00. Found out later that they only offered 494 GTO's based on the LeMans Sport coupe, and only 283 with the 400 4bbl. .Got a hard time from a lot of GTO enthusiasts about my "rebadged LeMans", but it was a GTO, like it or not. That Catalina junk yard motor whipped my brother's balanced and blue printed1963 split window 'vette (327 cid, 340 bhp) once, and he was as happy as the "true GTO" crowd with my car. Last I knew it was blown up behind a barn in California, Mo. If you see it and they'll sell, I'll give you $500.00, no questions asked. What I'd give to have that car back.

73' AMC Hornet. Straight 6.Single barrel carb. Auto. Air. 38+ MPG. Baaaad case of cancer.

Fun fact: First person in my class to get their license AND have their own car. It was possible to fit @ half my graduating class in that car.

Never really had anything one might consider 'hot' or 'sporty'. Grew up 30 minutes from the nearest 'town', never dated a girl closer than one county away. I needed good gas mileage!

Did own a GMC Sonoma (94 maybe) with the HO V6. Fun. HO? Not so sure...

1989 ford mustang 2.3 5 speed. Trunk model. LX. The car was the best car I ever owned. Got rid of it when I was a broke ass and the fuel pump failed. I would have kept it if I had it now.

First one that I drove for school and such on a regular basis was great uncle's old '84 Buick Century, we had it sitting around the farm and wasn't used for anything else so it worked just fine. First one I bought myself was a 1995 Chevy Blazer

`95 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible lol. Total POS.

I swapped the automatic for a 5 speed from a Dodge Daytona. The LeBaron never came with a 5 speed so I had the only one ever.

1978 Buick Regal my dad got from uncle who pulled it from a junkyard in Gainesville, Ga. It should have stayed there. 3.8 liter v6 had no gut at all..put a set of Keystone Klassics on it and rocked that piece..lol..still driving my first truck, 2002 F150..bought it in 2003 when I had a momentary lack of reason. currently looking for a Silverado or Sierra crew cab...I miss push rods...hate" modular" engines..
