What have you done to your K2 today?

Recommended Posts

Ah, the spring interior clean. I keep the seats covered and yet that quill like hair of my pet Ratty infest it like maggots. Now there's a picture to plant in a mind.  Oh well, it's done now. Looks like new.

Installed oem flip down overhead screen. Harness and my reprogrammed HMI on their way. I will post once again when I have everything fully functioning.

So your stock radio played video before, or now it plays video?

My build is going a little slow, but there is progress. Front grill pieces painted and cleared today,  they should be on the truck next week.

Replaced my driver’s side tail light wiring harness. One of the sockets was completely corroded. The other day I noticed I had a light out, went to simply plug in a new bulb and saw this garbage.

You got it to work?!  That’s awesome!!  How difficult was it to get the stock buttons working?

If you have Factory Heat, the button switch is a drop in replacement. Still need to get the seats, seat Memory module, and all the wiring in between done.

Very cool [emoji41]! Were you able to decipher the wiring in that donor dash?

Didn’t have to, I never got an idiot light on the instrument cluster. One chilly morning I had started her up and noticed the bulb out. Once I saw that the bulb socket was toast I just followed the harness down towards the bumper.
