What have you done to your K2 today?

Recommended Posts

I spent an entire 15 minutes installing the MVI IO6 upgrade in my Dad's '15 Silverado and a new battery. The battery was harder and took longer to do! He's 73 and loves the voice control compared to typing.

Yeah I’d see how it does first as normal.  Roadmaster even says it helps reduce the need for those (I doubt completely tho).

I spoke with Will last evening about it. He said go up to the 2mm disc, and adjust the wdh hitch now, add some more tongue weight. So thats my this evening plan.

6.2 in the truck with Max trailering

Oh wow. I just bought a 24ft, 27ft bumper to hitch. I only towed it once so far short distance. Waiting to see how it does rolling down the highway. Mines a 6.2 but not a max tow. 6500 max gross. Gonna run it over the scales next time I tow it.

What are you guys using to take off residual adhesive when you take off a dealer sticker? I just want something that won’t mess with the paint or anything.

I’ve actually found that 90% rubbing alcohol that they sell at CVS, etc. in the spray bottle works great. And doesn’t leave a residue you have to work to get clean like goo gone (which I also use) I just feel like the alcohol is easier on the clear coat than the goo gone is since that’s more of a solvent.

Makes sense. I actually assumed you would have started at the 2mm disc what with the RV and all.

yeah, Ive scaled mine a couple times. It tows pretty good. 6.2 is such a great motor. Its a tall, long trailer though, so you still feel the wind at times

Better late than never, quick walkthrough of OZ-USA’s Amber pods versus their white flood pods.

Overall I really like the “pop” the amber pods have on my truck. Fits my theme. For $43, you can’t go wrong with them whether you go with white or amber!
