What have you done to your K2 today?

Recommended Posts

I got my truck detailed today because the dealer left it a complete mess inside & out. I really didn't notice the outside because the weather was lousy but found out that it had several spots that looked like heavy weight oil. It came off with no problem but I didn't really plan on getting into this at only 4 days of owning it!

I also have put my WeatherTechs in & ordered a "hammock" for my dogs to ride on the back seat. Du-ha storage unit should be here soon too.

tell me more of this hammock as I have a Shar Pei and sounds like it may be something I would like to use with her....

I do like that... but same issue I think. If I want my dog on the floor vs the seat she wont have anywhere to really stand...

thanks for taking the pics for me, I appreciate it

Have you tested how well you can see out at night if someone turns on a light source inside the truck? I saw you used 55%, so maybe it's a non-issue?

In high school, my dumb friend put 20% on his windshield. One night a buddy in the back seat turned on flashlight while we were riding down the highway and the windshield suddenly became a mirror! Not fun.

Yes. Had it covered three days owning the truck. You really cannot tell the entire windshield is tinted from sitting inside looking out. No difference at night either. As a matter of fact, my 4 yr old son has to have the right rear overhead light on at night and since that light does such a good job as a spot light, no noticeable glare or issues seeing out the tinted front windshield. I think it is more of a UV protector than tinted. I recall Russo's Tinting stating it was 55%, but I could have misunderstood. I will ask him again. I do need all the overhead lights off to back into the garage. A little difficult seeing out the 20% on the side windows when the overhead is on. Greg.
