groundtrooper
Anyone notice how large the hole is at each corner of the bed in the front? I'm not sure what the purpose is. It is high enough that it is above the flap on the outside between the cab and bed This may explain some of the water in the bed...depending where you are seeing it and if you were in motion Yes. I got some weather stripping and stuffed it in those holes and then covered it with a black silicone sealant. Since I have a factory spray liner you can hardly notice my fix unless you are used to seeing daylight through those holes. It has worked out good for me. I still have a little leakage with my G4 Élite, but this cut down on A LOT of it. I have added some additional weather stripping on places where I could see light around the rails close to the cab. It's not perfect, but I live in PHX so rain in not my major concern, it is more the car wash run, and even then I always wash it when I am not hauling cargo back there so it will be dry by the time I need to use it. But like a said a little weather stripping and silicone will seal those holes right up. I'll get a picture an post it up. The passengers side had a bigger hole or gap on my bed to it took a little more weather stripping to fill the hole. Cowboyman
I've got a question for you or anyone else with a Revolver X2.....At the rear of the cover on the drivers side I have about 1/8" clearance between the (vinyl part) cover and the tail gate.....on the passenger side it pretty much rests on the tailgate. Which side is correct ?.....1/8" is not a ton of difference I'd just like to know what is right. Just wondering how the others fit ?
blwright
It should rest on the tailgate's plastic cover. You might need to loosen the rail clamp on the driver rear and give it a good bump, then re-tighten.

I was worried it might rub through the vinyl top with it sitting on top of the tailgate over years, so I was kinda liking the other side....lol I believe the rail is very slightly bent up at the end of the other side is why it's higher. Thanks for the reply, it's good to talk to someone who has one and knows ! Edited May 11, 2016 by Cowboyman

Also pushing down on the rail as you tighten the clamp helps minimize that gap.

After a week or two of driving with the cover on, I had to go back and tighten everything down again because the gap between my tailgate and the cover was as big as yours only all the way across. I also had to slide it back up towards the cab some, it had worked its way down. Just part of installing it by myself, I guess. I'm still super-happy with mine.

I bet we loosened and re-torqued that last clamp 4 times (while pushing down) to try and it get it lower....but it just won't stay down. I believe that last little bit of my rail......the part at the very end of the bed......is slightly bent up. Thanks I'll double check that tomorrow.....I have some shims from BAK coming in the mail today....I'm hoping I can get it leveled out with those. I wouldn't mind raising the other side to match the side that is up.....but I'm worried it might leak if I did that....the inner seal would still be against the tailgate so it might be okay. I do like how the raised side doesn't touch the tailgate at all....but we'll see what happens

I do have some slight leakage when it storms up by the cab, and that is due to my placement of the weather seal. It needed to be a little further back, I think I'm going to have BAK ship me another of the bigger weather seals so I can place it behind the one I have in there now and that should seal it up nice. I bet BAK will ship you one right away....they sent me a new rail when mine came bent last month (Fed Ex Overnight)....and they have sent me 2 different types of shims to try and get my fit exactly how I want it. They don't always reply to emails immediately, but if you call them they always get right on it ! Couldn't be happier with their customer service.

There aren't a lot of covers that will let you have them since they need to use the front stake pockets.....but there are a few ! I look forward to those pictures myself.

Regarding the rack setup, I need a setup where I can carry 5-8 kayaks up top, while having my bed free and secured with a cover. The Bak covers are compatible with this rack which I will be getting soon as I have the funds. TracRac SR
bakerrr
After going through multiple pages on this thread I ended up getting the Undercover Flex, really like how low profile and flush it sits [emoji1417] Just need to install the drain tubes
